Vintage metal hair barrette with an oval abalone shell inlay set into an ornate metal frame. Metal has an antique finish with decorative scrollwork around the shell. The abalone inlay has the natural iridescent coloring the shell is known for. Gently used with minor wear. Some light surface scratching on the metal consistent with regular use. The clip mechanism opens and closes as it should. Shown wrapped around tissue paper to allow photographing of the beautiful inlay.
